How do I convert EDI to Excel?
Upload the X12 or EDIFACT file to the EDI to Excel converter and download a workbook: purchase orders, invoices, and ship notices get a header sheet with one row per document and a line-item sheet with one row per line, and every segment of the file is listed on a Segments sheet. Documents that arrive as XML convert with XML to Excel instead.
Can I convert EDI to CSV with a row per line item?
Yes. EDI to CSV gives you a .zip with one CSV file per table. The line items become one row each, with the document number copied onto every line so you can pivot, total quantities, and reconcile against orders, shipments, and invoices in any spreadsheet tool.
Can you convert an EDI 850 to Excel?
Yes. An X12 850 purchase order becomes a header row (PO number and date, ship-to and bill-to parties, references, requested dates) plus one row per line with quantity, unit price, part numbers, and description. 810 invoices and 856 ship notices get the same header and line-item layout, with the 856 shipment, order, carton, and item levels flattened to one row per item.
Do you support EDIFACT to CSV as well as X12?
Yes. EDIFACT ORDERS and INVOIC messages get header and line-item tables, and every other message, such as a DESADV, is listed segment by segment. Files with or without the UNA service string convert. If you need your own column names or a dedicated layout for another message, we build a custom converter for your exact format.
